Where is SOVALYX based?
SOVALYX Technologies Ltd is a Mauritian company based in Mont-Choisy, Mauritius (entity founded in 2026), with an independent sister company in France, RGAIX (rgaix.tech). We design, deploy and operate sovereign infrastructure and private AI — expertise we have been building since 2009. We serve businesses in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean, as well as international clients.
Is my data hosted in Mauritius?
You choose. Depending on your needs and how critical your data is, it can be hosted privately on your own infrastructure, on a private or public cloud in Mauritius, or in Europe. The whole point of a sovereign approach is that you decide where your data lives.
Are you compliant with the Data Protection Act 2017?
We design infrastructures that let you keep your data in the jurisdiction you choose (Mauritius or the EU) and under your control. That supports your own compliance with Mauritius' Data Protection Act 2017 and the GDPR. We don't sell a certification — we give you technical control over where your data lives and who can access it.
What RTO does SOVALYX guarantee?
Our disaster recovery plans target a Recovery Time Objective (RTO) of around 30 minutes — restarting your critical systems in record time. The exact figure is set in your SLA, based on your infrastructure and priorities.
What does SOVALYX do?
Four things: a sovereign private cloud (your infrastructure, on your premises or in Mauritius); automated disaster recovery (RTO ~30 min); custom private AI trained and deployed on your own systems; and 24/7 monitoring of your infrastructure under SLA (security, monitoring, crisis management).
What is a sovereign (or private) cloud?
A sovereign cloud is infrastructure where you keep control over where your data is stored, who can access it and which law applies to it — unlike a giant public cloud where those choices are made for you.
Can I use AI without sending my data to public services?
Yes. We build and train private AI and LLMs deployed on your own infrastructure, so your data never leaves your control — the opposite of public AI services where your prompts go to a third party.
